Fake “unbiased review” sites: Tyent is Top rated by THEMSELVES, in every category!

What Tyent says:

Tyent has won the "Water Ionizer of the Year" award!

What they don't say:

This is an award Tyent has given themselves (how nice of them!).

Alkalinewater.com is owned and operated by Tyent.
If you look up the company that owns AlkalineWater.com, in the WHOIS database, you will see that this "company" is hiding the registrar's name (it's a private registration). If they were a legitimate website, why wouldn't they show who they are? Here is a screenshot of the results from the WHOIS database:

To give you an example of a legitimate company, this is what you will find when you look up the owner of CNET.com:

And this is what you will find when you look up the owner of Enagic.com. You will see the company founder proudly displays his name.

It's interesting to see how Tyent brags about how AlkalineWater.com voted them as "Ionizer Of The Year," six years in a row (meaning, they voted themselves)!  Note how the only water ionizer being promoted on this site is Tyent.  The only other ionizer mentioned on the homepage is Enagic, and the page is clearly designed to steer people away from Enagic!

Wait... we're confused... how many winners can there be?
Is "Water Ionizer of The Year" significantly different from "Editor's Choice Award Winner"?

We suppose that when you are the editor, of your own website, who's making the "editor's choice," you can just make up your own awards as you go along!

Life Ionizer IS THE OWNER of "Water Ionizer Expert"... yet people fall for this time and time again. This is NOT an "unbiased" review site! Toll free numbers cost a lot of money... companies have to pay for every minute they spend on the phone with a person, up to 25 cents per minute. Do you think these people just do this out of the goodness of their hearts? Because they just enjoy giving expert advice?? Ummmm... no.

You'll note that Consumer reports' website does NOT have a toll free number to call to just give "expert advice"! Just use common sense... no company in the world would set up a toll free number to talk to people just as an advisor.

Even a fourth grader could figure out that Water Ionizer Expert is owned by Life Ionizer. Don't fall for their schemes, people.

Tyent mentions that they are "bragged about" on CNET.  We wanted to see what kind of "bragging" was really taking place... and who was doing the alleged bragging.  This is the "article" on CNET....

... and this is the person who wrote the "article" on CNet.com.  Mysteriously, there is no profile picture, nor is there any profile information on this "person," and they have NO other "articles" to their credit.  But hey... how can you not trust a "review" from  someone named "burritobrain"?

The Gizmodo review below does seem like it was written like a legitimate reviewer. However, the entire review is two sentences long, and a person saying "This touchscreen water faucet might actually be good for your health" isn't exactly what we'd call bragging.

When you look at the article on "Discovery news," you will find that, for some reason, when you click on the author's name, to see his other articles....

... you get this message.
