Many people go to Amazon.com and are impressed to see that Tyent and Life Ionizer have 5-star reviews. What they don't realize is that almost none of their reviews are verified!

But look again...
This is what you will see if you search Amazon for their "verified" reviews. Either there will be none, or just a few.
When you click on the links below, for Tyent's Amazon "Reviews," you will see it APPEARS, at first glance, that Tyent has glowing reviews.
Tyent doesn't mention that out of over 500 reviews on Amazon.com, for their top 4 machines, less than one percent are verified.

We do realize this can be hard to believe, so please click on the links further down the page, so you can see the proof for yourself.
Why is Amazon Verification such a big deal? Because it was created to let you know that a buyer really did purchase the product from Amazon. ANYONE (including you) can make up a review on Amazon, whether they actually purchased the product or not, so Amazon has put this system into place to give you a sense of who is real, and who is fake.
Tyent and Life Ionizer bank on the fact that it takes a LOT of clicking to get to the "Verified Reviews" page, and they know most people will NEVER look this up (or even know how to)! People never think to check for the "verified reviews" when they don't even know such a thing exists. Given the fact that almost none of their reviews are verified, it doesn't appear to consumers that anything is missing (it might be different if, say, at least 50 percent of their reviews had "verified purchase" on them, but in most cases, it's not even 1%).
You will see some examples of REAL, verified purchases, further down the chart. Just about every product on Amazon has between an 80 and 90 percent verification rate, so it is highly unusual that Tyent would have less than one percent verification.
