*************What Enagic's Competition DOESN'T Want You To See!*************
The REAL Truth behind Life Ionizer's "Comparison Chart"!
We got a good chuckle out of this comparison chart, which life ionizer has posted on it's website. You can see the full chart on Life Ionizer's website by CLICKING HERE. But we'd like to warn you that Life Ionizer tends to change the facts on their website and warranties, so we made sure to save a screen shot of the original comparison chart, which you can see by CLICKING HERE.
We thought you might want to see how misleading this comparison chart is. It's not hard to look up these facts... just time consuming.... and Life Ionizer bets on the fact that most people just aren't going to bother doing their research! So we thought we'd do the research for you : )
We thought this chart was pretty funny, to see how Tyent has given THEMSELVES such a good rating. Notice how they don't disclose who actually gave this rating. Water ionizers that are TRULY medical grade are endorsed by over 6500 doctors in Japan, and dozens of doctors here in the US... but you can bet that Life Ionizer is NOT!
Please keep in mind that Tyent machines cost between $200 and $600 to make (up to a 10x markup)... while Enagic machines cost $1400 just to manufacture (thus the $3,980 price tag).

Distributor Details
Life Ionizer tries to make it appear that they have been in business longer than Enagic. They conveniently leave out the fact that Enagic's medical grade water ionizers have been manufactured for over 40 years.
June 1974: Sony's specialty trading operation, the precursor of Enagic, began operations in Okinawa, Japan. May 1987: The Japanese Ministry of Health and Welfare authorizes the Enagic Osaka factory as a medical equipment manufacturer. March 1988: Company became Kangen water specialist with philosophy of "True Health." January 2000: Enagic began sales of core product "LeveLuk DX."
October 2001: Merged with Toyo Aitex. The company specializes in electrolysis water generating technology. April 2002: The LeveLuk series of Kangen Water® machines is solely recommended by the Japanese Association for the Prevention of Geriatric Diseases.
Life Ionizer thinks that by putting "USA/Korea" as their "country of origin," this will somehow give more credibility to American consumers. But they are NOT manufactured in the US, nor do they have any "service centers" here! Their "distribution center" is a small office space in Carlsbad, California. Make no mistake, Life Ionizer machines are manufactured in SOUTH KOREA. They may have "call centers" in the US, but that is not where they are manufactured. If something goes wrong with your machine and you want to fix it, you will likely have to send it back to South Korea, for the tune of $600 each (unless you want to get a new one).
When you buy a MEDICAL GRADE ionizer, however, you can find distributors AND service centers at 7 different locations in the United States: LA, New York, Chicago, Honolulu, Dallas, Seattle and Orlando. There are locations in 38 different countries: Japan, Mexico, Germany, France, Italy, Australia, Taiwan, the Phillippines, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Brazil, Mongolia, Russia, two locations in Canada, Dubai, and the list is rapidly growing...

The Truth About Tyent - What You Need To Know!
Please understand that we do not like to say negative things about any company, but we find it disturbing to see the degree to which some of these companies mislead consumers, in order to sell their cheaply-made machines. We thought it might be helpful to put all this information into one site, so you can see it for yourself.
We find it offensive, and almost criminal, to know that these companies are taking advantage of people with serious health conditions. Please don't take our word for it. You can verify all the facts on this website for yourself, and then decide who's really deceiving people.

You can see a LARGER (readable) VERSION of this picture below, by clicking HERE. It will appear small, so click on the

They say they have the "safest" plates and filters (according to who)???? Nice try, Tyent. They give no evidence of this, and if you do your research, you will see that they just do not have the testimonials that medical grade machines have.
What they don't say:
Their plates are not made with medical grade titanium. This means the cheap alloys could leach into the water. They don't mention that they lack ISO medical certification, which would mean they are certified to be used in hospitals worldwide.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN AN IONIZER:
Here are some more videos you may find to be informative. Watch as these Medical Grade distributors take apart a Tyent Machine, and show you what it REALLY looks like. These machines CANNOT be cleaned. Their plates CANNOT be taken apart. The hoses even get mold in them!
And finally.... please don't be fooled when a company says they are better because they use more plates. They will never mention to you that their plates are VERY SMALL compared to the Medical Grade machine plates. You can have a look for yourself, in this video. Thank you again, Curtis Goble, for showing people the REAL TRUTH!!!
It doesn't matter if a machine has 11 plates or 1100, if it can't produce the same quality of water as a medical grade machine.

Tyent strongly appears to lie about their reviews on Amazon.com. Please have a CLOSER look at these reviews, and decide for yourself!
Fakespot.com is a website that can spot fake reviews. Check out their analysis of Tyent's 11 plate Turbo Ionizer! We found it kind of funny how their ads popped up on this page, trying to get us to buy one of their cheaply made ionizers.... Umm.... no thank you.

Tyent's website and consumer guides certainly do give the appearance that they have a lot of happy customers!
Tyent LOVES to use pictures of doctors in white coats, and happy looking people, all over their "consumer guides" and websites.
These are what you call STOCK PHOTOS....
Given the fact that this image was cropped just above the "getty images" logo (right in the middle of the little boy in front), we couldn't help but wonder if Tyent used it without permission... we wouldn't put it past them!
You can see this image, entitled "cheerful embraced mixed age group of people," on getty images:
More from their "Buyer's Guide"...
We couldn't help wondering about the woman in this picture, who gives a lovely testimonial, yet Tyent didn't bother to even giver her first name (we find this quite odd, for someone who would give such a nice recommendation! If she was a dealer, wouldn't she want to give her name?) We wanted to know who this woman was...perhaps she could teach us a thing or two about these machines!
Well, here are the copies of this image, that we found on google:
We are happy to report that this is not a stock image! We weren't able to find out who she was, but we did learn that she is affiliated with another company called Hydrent.com.
Hydrent.com is clearly another extension of Tyent.
They are just as full of clip art, and slick looking advertising, as the rest of their sites!
BUYERS BEWARE!!!
We got a real kick out of the video on this site, claiming that they won the award for "Best Budget Friendly Water Ionizer" from Water Ionizer.com!
Tyent banks on the fact that most people won't dig very deep to discover that HYDRENT.COM (aka Tyent) IS the owner of WaterIonizer.com!
Here's another "doctor" in a white coat, with a friendly, trusting smile.

They also know that they are giving many people the impression that they are somehow affiliated with Consumer Reports... which is completely untrue. These companies are not affiliated with Consumer Reports in ANY way whatsoever. Consumer reports has never actually reviewed a water ionizer. You can see this for yourself by CLICKING HERE.
You can file a complaint to the REAL consumer reports, by CLICKING HERE.
Websites like these are designed to steer people FAR, FAR away from Enagic (the only ionizer in the US that is hospital certified, and has been used in hospitals for over 40 years, because it uses medical grade parts). And sadly, they can be quite effective.
The Cynic in All Of Us
Because Kangen water seems "too good to be true" when you first learn about it, there's a part of your brain that is almost looking for something that would make you go, "A-HA!!! You SEE?? I KNEW it had to be too good to be true!"
Tyent and Life Ionizer are very happy to step right in and satisfy the skeptic in all of us! By slandering the medical grade company left and right, they are actually playing a psychological game that works on a lot of people. They know people are looking for a way to disprove that there really could be something so remarkable, out there.... and by saying negative things about the company, it is actually a RELIEF to people. They think, "Oh, thank you SO much for educating me on that other company." Because they are in a trusting state, it doesn't even occur to them that they are being LIED TO!
Slick advertising and easy-to-navigate websites
We have to give it to Tyent, they have some pretty slick looking advertising that has managed to fool a lot of people over the years. It is only when you actually look up the facts, in their guide, that you find the real truth about how they operate.
We're sure most people are aware of the fact that the people who are in the photos, on their websites and consumer guides, but somehow, seeing these original photos, being sold for $7 on Shutterstock and Camstock put things into a new perspective for us... so we thought we'd share a few more of their stock photos, here.
You can see other photos of this same woman, courtesy of Camstock... CLICK HERE to have a look!
Here's the link for the exact picture...
As for the "Facts" Tyent has on their website, please have a look at the pictures below... you will see just a short sample of the LIES they tell (and this is just a rebuttal for PAGE ONE). Scroll all the way down...

Not that the number of plates even matters, but we find it funny that recently, it was discovered by a Tyent customer that a machine being advertised as having 9 plates, in fact only had SEVEN!! And they did not look great, either (see pics below).
By the way, "LAD" is what the distributors for Medical Grade Machines call their units. because it is a Life Altering Device.
What they Say:

Medical Certification from Korea - what you need to know
Companies would like you to believe that Korean Medical Certification is the same thing as Japanese Medical Certification, though it is very different.
These companies will never tell you that their Korean Medical Certification is actually self certification, with a rubber stamp.
Can you imagine if doctors were allowed to use a "self-certification" process? You can read more in Lauri Tauscher's helpful guide about Enagic vs. the Competition.

What Kind of Titanium does Tyent use?
If you call Emco Tech, the company that makes Tyent and Life Ionizer machines, and ask them if they use medical grade parts, they will say yes. They will even say they use 100% titanium. THIS IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE. You can't USE 100% titanium to make plates. You need to have at least a very small amount of other alloys in the titanium in order for it to be malleable, but it has to be a very low amount so that it doesn't leach into the water.
As an example, look at this picture of a titanium screw for tooth plates (from tmstitanium.com). These types of screws could not be made with 100% titanium, nor could metal plates that go into a person's arm.... otherwise, the titanium could not be molded to the right shape or size.
When you ask Emco Tech if you can see a copy of an inspection certificate, PROVING that they use MEDICAL GRADE TITANIUM (meaning 99.98% titanium or above).... THEY WILL NOT GIVE IT TO YOU. Why would a company refuse to produce a document that could show they really do use medical grade parts, if they really did have them. Wouldn't they want to brag about this?
Tyent has a lot of "certifications" that may look fancy, but they really don't have anything to do with WATER QUALITY!
ISO 13485 HOSPITAL CERTIFICATION
This certification means a device is ISO Certified to be used in hospitals and clinics worldwide, and TYENT DOES NOT HAVE THIS CERTIFICATION. A lot of Tyent's certifications look fancy and important, until you actually look them up.
ISO 13485:2003
Medical devices -- Quality management systems --
Requirements for regulatory purposes
This standard has been revised by: ISO 13485:2016
Abstract
ISO 13485:2003 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to provide medical devices and related services that consistently meet customer requirements and regulatory requirements applicable to medical devices and related services.
The primary objective of ISO 13485:2003 is to facilitate harmonized medical device regulatory requirements for quality management systems. As a result, it includes some particular requirements for medical devices and excludes some of the requirements of ISO 9001 that are not appropriate as regulatory requirements. Because of these exclusions, organizations whose quality management systems conform to this International Standard cannot claim conformity to ISO 9001 unless their quality management systems conform to all the requirements of ISO 9001.
All requirements of ISO 13485:2003 are specific to organizations providing medical devices, regardless of the type or size of the organization.
If regulatory requirements permit exclusions of design and development controls, this can be used as a justification for their exclusion from the quality management system. These regulations can provide alternative arrangements that are to be addressed in the quality management system. It is the responsibility of the organization to ensure that claims of conformity with ISO 13485:2003 reflect exclusion of design and development controls.
If any requirement(s) in Clause 7 of ISO 13485:2003 is(are) not applicable due to the nature of the medical device(s) for which the quality management system is applied, the organization does not need to include such a requirement(s) in its quality management system.
The processes required by ISO 13485:2003, which are applicable to the medical device(s), but which are not performed by the organization, are the responsibility of the organization and are accounted for in the organization's quality management system.
Tyent also does not have an endorsement from the Water Quality Association (though it was important enough that Life Ionizer actually tried to claim they did have this certificate, even though they never had it at all).
The videos shown in the pictures below (pic on the left) is of a man trying to claim that Enagic uses chemicals in their water, and that somehow this could be dangerous. What he doesn't tell you is that Enagic's only "chemical" that is added is just a basic SALT SOLUTION, which is easily flushed out through a thorough cleaning process by the machine. If these machines actually made people sick in any way, do you really think they'd be used in Japanese hospitals for over 40 years? Japanese hospitals are mandated to operate as non profits. So it would make no sense for Japan to put their Public's health at risk, by using products that will make people in hospitals more sick.
In addition, that basic salt solution is what is necessary in order to make hypochlorous acid, which is what is used to kill bacteria, fungus, staph, e. Coli and more. No reputable doctor would ever use Tyent's 2.5 "acid water" (that's not hypochlorous acid) in a medical setting. Plain "2.5 acidic water" doesn't kill HALF the bacteria and germs as hypochlorous acid. Would you trust a doctor who scrubbed his hands with this cheap "acid water" to do surgery on your body, if you knew he just used something that would only kill HALF the bacteria???
Here is some insight as to what some Medical Grade Machine distributors have said about Tyent, on their PRIVATE Facebook page (so the names and identities are blurred out). You be the judge about who you believe.
We also find it interesting that Tyent claims to have a 75-day Trial (when you try to leave their site, this ad, below, will pop up). If the trial is 75 days, why does it say on their website that their return period (circled in red, above), is 60 days...? With a $524 restocking fee?? Sorry, Tyent, we're a bit confused...
Don't be fooled by Tyent's "Lifetime Warranty."
You should know that when companies say "Lifetime Warranty" this means the MACHINE'S lifetime... not YOUR lifetime. In other words, if you buy a machine that is made in 2015, but that machine stops being manufactured in 2016, that is the end of the machine's "Lifetime."
Curtis Goble does an excellent job of explaining what a "Lifetime Warranty" REALLY means. This is a video featuring Life Ionizer, but they seem to offer the same faulty promises. Thank you Curtis!
